Lakeland Soft Water

Privacy policy

This draft policy covers only Lakeland Soft Water’s proposed service text program and the associated permission and reply records. It does not replace a general website or company privacy policy. The acquiring entity’s legal name and business contact details will be added before launch.

Information used for service texts

The program uses your mobile number, contact name, relevant appointment and delivery details, contact preferences, permission or refusal records, message contents and replies, and delivery or error information. Permission records can include when and how you agreed, the staff member who recorded your choice and a note describing your answer. If the person responsible for a property changes, preferences must be reviewed for the new contact.

How we use it

We use this information to send the service updates you requested, honor suitable contact times and channel choices, answer replies, record schedule discussions, maintain opt-out suppression and arrange staff follow-up when an update fails or needs a response. Text replies do not automatically change appointments.

Who processes it

Authorized Lakeland staff use the records to provide service. OnIT Data Systems supports the application, and Twilio and mobile carriers process messages and delivery information. Infrastructure providers process the records as needed to operate the service. These providers receive information needed for those functions, not permission to market to you independently.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information and text messaging consent are not shared with affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Permission for Lakeland service texts does not authorize unrelated OnIT messages or marketing texts.

Retention and your choices

Message, permission and service records are retained as needed to provide service, resolve disputes and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. A record of an opt-out may need to be retained to prevent further texts. The final operator will confirm its retention policy before launch; no fixed deletion period is promised in this draft.

Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Call (248) 674-0923 to ask about your records, correct contact details or discuss your contact preferences. We may need to verify that you are authorized to request a change. Stopping texts does not require deleting the service history for your property.

Changes of ownership or purpose

The pending acquisition will not itself be treated as permission for a new sender or purpose. Before launch, the operator and approved messaging scope will be confirmed and any necessary notice or renewed permission addressed.

See the SMS terms for the proposed program’s scope, charges and contact options.
