If the customer says no or is unsure, leave text permission unapproved and record the channel they prefer. Never assume that providing a phone number is consent.

After the customer agrees

At launch, the first text will confirm enrollment before routine updates begin:

Respecting the appointment

A proposed change is a conversation. Your appointment stays in place until a change is agreed and recorded. An unanswered or delivered text is not agreement. Arrival estimates can change with traffic, weather and the work at the previous stop.
